Our Story
Like many innovative ventures, The Scenic Space began in a garage, with a big vision and even bigger dreams. I'm Megan Lewandowski, founder of The Scenic Space. After earning my BFA in sculpture, I dove headfirst into the world of scenic design and fabrication, honing my craft under the sunny skies of Florida with none other than the most famously magical mouse in the business.
After the pandemic, I felt the pull to return home to Buffalo, a city that shaped me and one that’s rapidly blossoming with creativity. In 2022, driven by a desire to contribute to the artistic growth of my hometown, I founded The Scenic Space. It was something I always wished existed here when I was growing up: a place where imagination and collaboration meet (aka building cool things).
Today, The Scenic Space partners with companies across the world, delivering exceptional scenic design and fabrication services. We’re proud to be part of Buffalo’s artistic landscape, and even prouder to be growing every single day in the Scenic Industry.
